I am blessed

This has been an exciting week for Alex. He's officially walking (although pretty wobbly), he is clapping, signing the word "more" and even said "pizza." Wow, what a week! He is becoming quite the little toddler and I just can't believe how quickly this year has flown by. We'll be celebrating his 1st birthday in just two weeks. Wait, what?

Sydney has become quite the social butterfly. We've had four birthday parties the last three weekends, and she is so adorable with her friends. They always have an arm around each other and give each other hugs. Yesterday one of her friends referred to her as "Pretty Sydney." So cute.

It's definitely been an adjustment to go to work every day and "bring home the bacon"
while Anthony is home with the kids. I am sure he is still adjusting! It's most difficult when Sydney asks me why I have to go to work, or tells Anthony that she likes it when I am home. So yes, that is hard. I feel fortunate to not only have a job, but to go to a job that I enjoy (well most of the time, ha.) And my favorite part of the day is when I come home and Sydney runs to me with open arms yelling, "Mommy, mommy" and Alex is smiling and happy to see me. I am so blessed to have such a good man that is a fantastic dad and willing to put his career on hold for a while to raise the kids. And I count my blessings every day for these two wonderful kidlets we call Sydney and Alex who are just beyond amazing in my book. Check these two out....

Happy 11 months Alex!!

My little man is 11 months old already-how did that happen? I can't believe we will be celebrating his 1st birthday in less than a month. Which reminds me I have some planning to do...

Alex is close to walking, into everything, and just a pretty awesome little guy. We are so blessed to have such great kids. He is pretty much the exact opposite of Sydney-from how much he eats (he eats more than Syd) to how loud he is. He is ALL boy.

And don't worry-no Alex's were harmed in the shooting of the picture posted above. Sydney was standing off to the side, ready to catch him if he made a nose dive. It's all about safety people.
