Back to the beach

We went to Edmonds beach with the usual suspects yesterday. We had such a great time last week that we figured as long as it wasn't too cold or rainy, we must do it again. Yesterday reached 57 degrees and it was sunny-perfect day at the beach and we had it all to ourselves! The kids had a blast digging in the sand, walking on the logs and throwing rocks into the water. They also enjoyed watching for ferry boats and the train. The beach has definitely become one of our favorite destinations.

All the kiddos

Digging and scooping

The Jakester is such a HAM! He loved the beach too. I just can't believe he's already old enough to play on the beach with the toys. Seriously, he was just born!! Kinda. Throwing rocks into the Puget Sound
Little Jakey
The goal was to get pictures of the three kiddos holding hands, but Samantha wasn't feeling it so here are the two.
Samantha was feeling it about two minutes later after Cole left. Nice pose Syd. ;)
Last week we headed over to the Children's Museum that we love so much. Here are a couple pics of the day...

Riding the cars in the construction room
I love the little smiles Samantha gives me
Samantha and Syd with their new friend Noah-who is a hand holder! Yessss! Here's part of the rooftop play area too-this thing is HUGE! The whole museum is fun, but the rooftop play area takes the cake.

How sweet! Don't you just love the beach during cooler weather! It's so peaceful! Looks like the kids had a blast!
